[CH]Bail Procedure[/CH]

Bail is the secured release of an individual in holding while pending trial in court by means of money. Bail works by releasing a defendant in exchange for money that the court holds until all proceedings and trials surrounding the accused person are complete. The court hopes that the defendant will show up for his or her court dates in order to recover the bail. In the case where a trial is not held, the defendant will simply be released with the money held indefinitely. Bail works slightly different here however...

How to Bail Another Person:

In order to secure someones bail, you must first acquire someone of the law to process the payment and release for you. Once done so, the money will be put into a monetary fund held by the policing agency and the suspect will be released, pending or not pending trial. There is also one stipulation to this policy; anyone who is accused of a felony crime will be unable to post bail, regardless.

  • $10,000 per crime charged with.
  • $5,000 per hour jailed.
  • No bail if felony crime is charged.

Do remember you will not always be able to bail someone out, just like you will not always be able to get an Ambulance to your house before sudden death. Anyone caught breaking this policy in any agency will be subject to a High Corruption penalty by the Administration.
This is the same procedure which has been in use for a while, but never explained in detail publicly.
