I's be playing GTA IV First Response, it's amazing... Although I only get 15FPS because my laptop is a poop machine.

I's also play GTA SA First response Not as good as GTA IV though ... But I have been speaking with the creator of SAPD:FR and have gotten him to start coding SAPDFR MP for MTA!!

It's definitely one of the best GTA mods. I don't play it much due to my PC not likeing the crappy whatchumacallit they did to get GTA IV to PC from xBox, runs shitty as hell.

Indeed, Rockstar eff'd up on their console and optimization for PC , Need a power house to run the game respectively lol

I have 10GB RAM with a 6 core 3.3GHz. It doesn't lag, but... I can't really explain it, it kinda just drags every second or two.

I have the Intel I7 3770k,
16 GB Ram
nVidia GTX 660

I run GTAIV on Ultra with no lag, even when recording.


Now, How does one play this game mode? Is it a server?

GTA IV is appauling, seeming it's badly converted to PC.
If you have a Windows 7:
1) Open up task menu
2) type in msconfig
3) Click Services
4) untick 'Windows Event Log', 'Windows Event Collector'
It's the Windows event logger that gives you that small fps lag.

I used to play it all the time, but I got fed up with it crashing my GTA IV all the damn time, however, I don't want to blame LCPD:FR.
My "Buggy Game of the Year"-rating goes to Grand Theft Auto IV.
