When you say reinstalling, do you mean MTA, GTA:SA, or both?
This could be a problem with either one.

It's a graphics issue I believe, have you been able to play other games? Try installing the latest directX

Or go to the properties of both the GTA sa and MTA sa executable files and go to the comparability tab andchange some of the settings (don't remember which ones off the top of my head)

MTA started screwing me over ever since that ''systemprofile'' was set. It's wierd though, as it doesn't allow me to play on another account either. I'll try re-installing windows this weekend.

Yep. Also tried re-installing to a new map (GTA and MTA both)

Do you have another computer?, if you could try to test the GTA:SA install disk for any errors by testing it on another pc.
Progress! It worked yesterdaynight. I managed to have it running, and being able to log-in. Don't recall what i did other than normal.
Problem is that it now crashes directly after loading the MTA interface (what comes after GTA splash screen).
Yet again, i tried everything.
