They are our brothers in blue, our watchful protectors overlooking those dark alleys and treacherous streets. May they all find eternal rest in the place they call home. They have done their duty, they have given their all. They are our fallen brothers in blue.

Give him the strength to do all that he can.

  • Served: 12 years in the San Andreas Police Department.
  • Family: One wife, two daughters.
  • An exemplary officer, outstanding in performance and aptitude. He will be sorely missed among our ranks, though we wish him his best, standing faithfully by in heaven.

I lay here wondering why
why you are not here.
You died honoring your town
and now your town is honoring you.

We watch the medic speed away,
and we just can't help saying
"It could of been me being taken away."

The word is out
The headlines read
"A COP IS DEAD"
It shouldn't be.

The flags are low
The blue lines are forming
and the bagpipes are drowning
our tears of sorrow.

As the days are passing
the pain is easing
but no one will forget

On February 7th, 2013, Captain David Lopez was shot and killed in the line of duty, protecting his fellow officers from gunmen.

Trooper Second Class - Mike Winterfield

• Mike Winterfield
  • Trooper Second Class - Central Bureau
  • Served: 3 years in the San Andreas Police Department.
  • Family: Married, no kids.
  • He was like us, in every way, he walked his beat, he moved his stick to the call, yet he was taken from us. Trooper Winterfield was an outstanding officer in his class, one of the best we've had.

An Angel In The Sky Must Leave His Place Of Rest,
Gently Tucking His Wings Beneath His Armored Vest.
For Duty Has Called, There Is Much Work To Do
Little Did He Know, This One Is Dressed In Blue.

Arriving On The Scene, He Knows Just What To Say,

Major - Tony Wash Jr

• Tony Wash Jr
  • Major - Office of Special Services
  • Served: 15 years in the San Andreas Police Department.
  • Family: Married, 5 kids.
  • A dedicated, heartfelt officer who gave his all, no matter what, to every situation and job given to him. He was a family man at heart, and it showed in his leadership qualities.

Dark glasses can't hide
the tear stained eyes
of the warriors,
these men and women who aren't supposed to cry.

The silver covered
by that thin tan line
an all to familiar sight this day
along with the pain that no one can hide.

Taps sounds, the guns go off
it only serves as a reminder
of what we all have lost.
one more trooper gone

But the hurt felt will last so long
for no longer in the streets of hell
a final call is given in honor
to another one that fell.

On March 9th, 2013, Major Tony Wash was shot and killed in the line of duty, storming an armed plane of barricaded murder suspects.

Commissioner - Brian Beatty

• Bryan Beaty
  • Commissioner
  • Served: 23 years in the San Andreas Police Department.
  • Family: Married, 1 kid.
  • "When a police officer is killed, it's not an agency that loses an officer, it's an entire nation." -Chris Cosgriff

It was a beautiful spring day,
The colors flew proudly in the breeze.
The sun was shining, the birds were chirping,
Yet nobody seemed at ease.

A somber mood filled the air,
A sense of sadness among us all,
For today we buried a Hero,
Who chose to answer the call.

Though not in the prime of his life
The pain is no less the same,
The loss felt by his family, his wife,
And all that knew him by name.

To some, he was Brian,
To most, he was The Chief.
For all that knew and loved him,
He will be missed beyond belief.

They came from far and wide,
To show their respect and admiration.
For your commitment to serve and protect,
And lifetime of service and dedication.

And off in the distance,
A slow thunder grew,
A helicopter flew over,
In honor of you.

A bugler played taps,
As is the tradition,
A final salute rendered,
While everyone stood at attention.

As family members wept,
And officers consoled one another,
We realized the magnitude of our loss
As we bury yet another Law Enforcement brother.

Easy going in nature,

On March 9th, 2013, Commissioner Bryan Beaty was shot and killed in the line of duty, protecting his fellow officers from sniper fire.

Trooper First Class - Scott Green

  • Trooper II
  • Served: 5 years in the San Andreas Police Department.
  • Family: Divorced.
  • Even though we didn't get to know him well, he was one of our most outstanding officers. Trooper Green will forever hold a place inside our hearts.

Next time a cop stops you because you are driving too fast,
Remember he saved you from that day being your last.

When you think he’s picking on someone,
Why not think of what they could have done?

Next time you call him a name,
Would he have called you the same?

How would you feel to see a child beaten black and blue?
And knowing there is not much you can really do.

You can arrest them and hope they stay in jail,
But, too many times it doesn’t work that well.

To see the face of someone right before they die,
When he can’t but all he wants to do is cry.

To break up a fight, knowing later it will be worse,
And from his help, all that came was him being cursed.

To know that people don’t respect what he chose to do,
But day after day, he’s out there to protect people like you.

To see drugs sold to a child younger than his own,
Makes his heart ache and long for his home.

The job has no glamour, doesn’t even pay well,
He does it because he cares for more than himself.

He cares for you and he cares for me,
He’s out there hoping we will all see.

He took a path not many would take,
And he chose it for our sake.

He’s a remarkable soul, a Hero in the Night,
When all is well, he’s not in sight.

But, if you ever need him, he’ll be right there,
Not just because he’s a cop but because he cares.

Captain Jesica Howards

• Jessica Howards
  • Captain - Training Bureau
  • Served: 22 years in the San Andreas Police Department.
  • Family: One husabnd, two daughters.
  • She was an officer few and far between, qualified above what her job asked her to do. If only we had more like her, it wouldn't have ended this way. Forever in our hearts, Captain Howards.

Among us, sent down from Heaven,
Are those that walk a Thin Blue Line, that's a given.
Like Guardian Angels to watch over me and you,
Are those that wear the uniform of blue.

We see them only as traffic stops,
We do not call them friends, just cops.
We pray we never have a chance meeting,
We never pass along a greeting.

But they are so much more than this,
They simply do not see the world as bliss.
But they look into the corners of our deepest fear,
They walk the beat, they dry a tear.

They bring a message to our home,
When all is not well, and we are alone.
They come to us, no matter the need,
Handle the problem, complete the deed.

They lay their personal feelings aside,
They do their job, they have great pride.
And if one should fall among life's thing,
The badge they wear, turns into wings.​

  • Served: 2 years in the San Andreas Police Department.
  • Family: Not married
  • He was dedicated, he was heartfelt. He was everything many of us wish we could be, but aren't.

It could have been you
It could have been me
It could have been any of us just lying there

We wonder why this has happened
We wonder why the people are against us
We wonder of a lot of things
and yet we know there will never be an answer

The bagpipes are playing
The sash is on the pin
The black tape is on the car
and the flags are flying half mast

The precession is starting
The lines of blue are forming
The blue lights are shining
and the radios remain silent.

The citizens are mourning
The suspect is running
The investigation is beginning
and JUSTICE IS COMING!!!!

Trooper Second Class - Grant Anderson

• Grant Anderson
  • Trooper Second Class - Central bureau
  • Served: 9 years in the San Andreas Police Department.
  • Family: Divorced, 3 kids.
  • A God loving trooper, he dedicated his life and all he was to the department, to bettering the community. May he rest in eternal peace with Saint Joseph.

When I start my tour of duty God,
Wherever crime may be,
as I walk the darkened streets alone,
Let me be close to thee.

Please give me understanding with both the young and old.
Let me listen with attention until their story's told.
Let me never make a judgment in a rash or callous way,
but let me hold my patience let each man have his say.

Lord if some dark and dreary night,
I must give my life,
Lord, with your everlasting love
protect my children and my wife.​

On February 20th, 2013, Trooper Grant Anderson was shot and killed in the line of duty, gunned down by a gunmen in a mob.

Sergeant Second Class - Jacob Patterson

• Jacob Patterson
  • Sergeant Second Class - Central Bureau
  • Served: 15 years in the Los Santos Police Department.
  • Family: Married, 1 kid.
  • Dedicated and heartfelt, the best qualities you can find in any man. He gave his all in the line of duty, he gave his everything to his city.

Blood Upon The Shield
Confrontation in an alley. The Centurion does not yield.
But this time the good guy loses;
there is blood upon the shield.

And the mournful sounds of bagpipes
play out across the land,
drowned out by the sobs of a lonely young wife
and a child too young to understand.

While the killer pleads his case in court,
the thin blue line is one man short.
And we're one step closer to society's fall;
another cop's name is engraved on the wall.

Another state funeral, with an army in blue,
and we know it could've been me and it could've been you.
We all look ahead to what the future has in store,
front line troopers in a country that's at war.

At war with itself and at war with its cops and we're
out there every day 'cause the battle never stops.
It's not the way it is on TV shows or like
we learned in school; no cool music in the background,
no playing by the "rules;"

We're disillusioned warriors,
but for right we'll always strive.
We just pray that at the end of our stress-filled day
we'll get back home alive.

You stand out on the corner
ignoring the insults and the stares,
close to the point of believing that no one really cares,
when a six year-old boy walks over after watching
you for awhile, reaching out to shake your hand,
on his face a friendly smile.

To him you are a hero,
a protector of our land, and he wants
to learn about you,
as a cop and as a man.

And when he asks you why your badge is covered
by a black elastic band,
tell him about our Brother
A cop who made a stand.​

On May 12th, 2013, Sergeant Jacob Patterson was shot and killed in the line of duty, gunned down by a raging vigilante.

  • Served: 3 weeks in the Los Santos Police Department.
  • Family: Single, One brother.
  • A great man, One who which risked his life for those that may have been lost in the line of duty, He will not be forgotten by his friends and family.

As another marchs away in his death, One more will fill his spot, leaving him forgotten in his grave. Without this life that was given today, We would not have seen what came next, So today we let go of one of our own so another can fill his place.

On June 10th, 2013, Trooper Second Class Bryce Patterson was shot and killed in the line of duty, gunned down by Two raging vigilantes whom of which had possible hostages in which he gave his life trying to save .
