Today we are making a change to the ability to BUY factions.
As of today, We are no longer going to offer the option to Buy Factions that are already created. Government Factions, Legal Factions, even Illegal Factions. Following this, the Faction Review Team is going to be hard at work finding new leaders for the factions, ones that can prove to run the faction efficiently.
New factions (Such as you are creating a Illegal Faction and feel you will never get approved, or want to skip the approval process) can still purchase their faction to be scripted.. However this is only for Illegal Factions. Legal Factions will need to prove how they will be useful before they can purchase their faction, and they must inform us of any requested scripting before purchasing.
The price will remain the same for these new factions:
Illegal will be $50 USD
Legal will be $75 USD but will now require FRT Approval.
It will no longer be possible to purchase a Government Faction, pre scripted or not. It will also no longer be allowed to buy Legal and Illegal factions that are already scripted.
When a faction is taken over for inactivity, they will be immediately appointed a leader, or Closed Permanently.
Today's Change in factions does NOT effect factions that were already purchased. If you purchased or are in the process of purchasing a Faction at the moment, You may still purchase that faction, and any amounts that you may still owe on it, are still due. From today on we are not selling any MORE factions, aside from the ones that have already been sold.
Our change to make Factions un Purchasable, is our attempt to make them easier to obtain the legitimate way. Faction Review has been informed that they will need to step up their game, and begin taking control of factions that are inactive, or appear to be going inactive. They will also be reviewing new factions for potential official status more as well.
