Introduction

Multi Theft Auto Roleplay is a roleplay server where you take on the role of a regular everyday person that will be shaped by your decisions. There are various factions you can join such as the Los Santos Police Department (LSPD), Los Santos Fire Department (LSFD), and the Los Santos Emergency Medical Services (LS:EMS). All of these factions require some special skill from your character. Your character may be able to learn that skill as a trainee in that faction or it may already know it from one of it's previous experiences. I recommend that unless you've actually had previous experience with the subject that you're applying for you don't say that you do.

Factions

Factions are organizations that can be both legal and illegal. The organizations stated in the Introduction are all Government factions which are legal and funded by the government. Joining legal factions is fairly easy, all you have to do is apply on the forums at their section with the proper application format. Joining Illegal factions can be more challenging, Most illegal factions recruit members once they have seen that they're trustworthy and are capable of doing what they want you to do. I recommend that you roleplay with the members of the factions for a while and if they think you're worthy to join they'll allow you.

If you'd like to learn more on factions and the faction interface, etc.. go to our guide to factions. A Guide to Factions

Helpful Hints

When in a vehicle to turn your engine on is J. J doesn't come with an automatic /me for turning on the engine so you'll have to write it yourself. When in a vehicle to turn on/off your headlights it's L, Once again it doesn't come with an automatic /me but you don't need to do one unless you want to. When in or outside a vehicle which you have the keys for you can unlock/lock it with K, This does have an automatic /me. If you're roleplaying as a Police Officer and you're in a Police Cruiser to turn on the strobes it's P.

While driving you shouldn't drive in a way where it wouldn't be Realistic. Such as driving off a cliff with intentions to get somewhere faster or doing random stunts.

When roleplaying you should always analyze the situation before doing a /me. If someone is shot or stabbed or severely injured do what you would do as if it was Real Life. If you would run in real life then run, if you would try to help the person in real life then try and help them. In my opinion binds are one of the most helpful things in a roleplay server. They enable you to make quick responses but are mostly used by factions such as the LSPD and Gangs. If you'd like to learn how to make binds here's a great guide on how to make binds by Brocily. Hot to Make Binds.

Here are some guides which I recommend you read:

Guide to Roleplay Principles: Click Here

Guide to Licenses: Click Here

Guide to Jobs: Click Here

Even though these are the guides which I recommend to read, you should read all of our guides. They'll expand on the certain topics while this one was generalized in teaching you what we do here and helpful hints.
