Tsunami
As you login, you might find things a bit misplaced or underwater! We're introducing a bi-annual event of every ones most requested, a flood. The circumstances surrounding will always be different and it may not be major. It could be simply a foot higher due to extra rain or could drown a whole town from some giant tsunami, it's a roll of the dye!
January 25th, 2017
A massive 8.9 earthquake has struck off the coast of Hawaii! Massive damage across the entire island has left everyone without power and an estimated one hundred dead already. A result from the earth shattering quake is a huge tsunami, which hit Red County at 14:12 hours. The resulting tsunami swamped much of Blueberry and surrounding areas, leaving many displaced. Initially flooding went over Montgomery and Dillimore through the valleys, however the National Weather Service advises receding back by tomorrow morning.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has setup temporary headquarters with the San Andreas Police Department (SAPD) at the Palamino Sanitary building.
The FEMA head quarters will be open 24/7 for any displaced individuals looking for a place to sleep or food to eat. We're working day and night to enact flood barriers to prevent further encroachment as well as actively pumping water out of any businesses, houses or government centers which have been affected.
You can contact FEMA through 311 or your local SAPD Officer can get in contact with them.
The National Weather Service estimates a negative retention of the tsunami and a return to normal levels in the coming days.
Bradley Ownes,
FEMA District Supervisor.
