0.4 - Commands
As most people know, commands can be found in game by typing /helpcmds. But I've decided I'd list them here on this topic as well.

Most Common Commands

  • /ticket (syntax: /ticket id amount reason)

  • /mdc (A GUI will appear, and you will enter a username & password [Must be in a PD Vehicle])
  • /revokelicense (syntax id [license type 1: Drivers 2: Weapons] time)

0.5 - Radio Protocol

Radio Protocol is split up into two sections, in which they are similar, but at the same time are quite different.

Department Radio

Department Radio is used to contact other Factions, such as SAPD, SASD, LSES, HEX, etc.
In department radio you must use proper radio protocol, such as sending formals, main message, ending formals.

Example: LSPD to SAPD, 10-4 enroute to your 10-20, ETA two minutes, over.

Sending Formals is stating who you're contacting, or who is trying to contact you. For example if you were trying to contact Hex, you would use LSPD to HEX

Main Message is the information that you're sending to the party or other parties.

Over is suggesting you're waiting for the other party or parties to respond to your radio message.
Out is stating that you're not requesting a response from a party or other parties.

Local Radio

Local Radio is used to contact other officers in your own department
In local radio you must use proper radio protocol, such as sending formals, main message, ending formals.

Example: #015 to #001, 10-12 at my 10-20, 10-1 silent to the next upcoming beacon, over.

Sending Formals is stating who you're contacting, or who is trying to contact you. For example if you were trying to contact an officer with the badge number #001, and your current badge number is #015, you would use #015 to #001

Main Message is the information that you're sending to the party or other parties.

Over is suggesting you're waiting for the other party or parties to respond to your radio message.
Out is stating that you're not requesting a response from a party or other parties.

*Note* I've decided not to list Police Department Codes for privacy reasons.

0.6 - Arresting

While arresting someone you should be as realistic as possible, and should not try to arrest someone as quickly as you can. But take it thoroughly and examine everything you can at the current time.

Arrest
When arresting an alleged suspect, you must list the suspects charges on which they're being arrested for, then you must list their Miranda Rights, without listing their Miranda Rights the suspect will be released from prison due to violation of their rights as a citizen. After reading their rights the suspect may request for a lawyer. If the suspect has requested for a lawyer, you must offer the suspect a phone and allow him to call their lawyer. If the suspect does not have a lawyer, you must contact First Court and direct the to a Legal Aid lawyer.

Booking
When booking a suspect into a prison cell, you must search them. When searching a suspect the main items you're looking for is weapons, drugs, identification, etc. If drugs and weapons are found, you must add on extra charges to their current list of charges if applicable. Once you've let them aware of their new charges, you must take the weapons/drug/contraband into the correct evidence room.

0.7 - Ticketing

In most cases for issuing some a ticket is for traffic violations. When pulling a driver over you must turn on your headlight strobes, sirens, and announce for them to pull over, over the microphone. Once they are pulled over you must align your vehicle behind the drivers vehicle as best as you can, making sure traffic can drive safely by you. Once you've aligned your vehicle, you must announce the code one over Local Radio. Once announced over local radio, you should exit your vehicle and approach the drivers vehicle with cautioning manner. Once you've approached the drivers side window, you should address the driver in a respectful manner, and let the driver be aware why you're pulling them over. Once the driver is aware of why they're being pulled over, you should ask for their drivers license. Once the drivers license is in your possession you should walk back to your patrol vehicle, and enter their information into the Mobile Database Computer. At this point you will see all of the drivers prior violations/charges. And that's when you'll decide if the driver shall be ticket or be verbally warned (Usually a driver receives a verbal warning if they have no prior traffic violations). If decided the driver is going to be issued a ticket you should walk back to the vehicle and tell them that they're going to be ticketed, and for what reason(s). Then you should issue them the ticket.

Minor Traffic Violations
  • Failure to Stop at a Bluezone
  • Failure to Wear a Seatbelt
  • Illegal U-Turn
  • Illegal Passing
  • Speeding

Major Traffic Violations
  • Reckless Driving
  • Street Racing
  • Use of Nos

Depending on the situation, an illegal u-turn could be considered reckless driving, depending on where you've done it.
