Over the years we have had people to donate, and then we later find that they used their parents credit card, and the parents weren't so happy about it or whatever the case may be.. the payments get charged back.. Up until this point we have had a very strict policy in place that we would ban anyone who even attempts to charge back (Considering we usually win any claim anyway). That part of this system is not changing..

Here's what IS changing though.

In the past, If you filed a Chargeback or tried to dispute the payment of a donation to our server, We would immediately ban you, and demand that you pay the amount of the chargeback plus any fees assessed (PayPal usually charges $40 per transaction) during that process in order to be unbanned. Once that payment has been made, we process the unban.

Effective Today, we are now adding an inconvenience fee to any charge backs, that MUST be paid in full before an unban can be processed. The inconvenience fee is 20% of the entire amount due, including any fees assessed by PayPal.
If you are already banned due to a Charge back, You have until January 20, 2014 to resolve that balance WITHOUT being charged an Inconvenience fee. After January 20th, We will add those fees to all accounts that are in the negative.

Example.
If you Donate $100 to our server, and it ends up getting charged back.. What you would owe us is:

$100 - The original Amount donated
$40 - PayPal Charge Back Fees.
$28 - 20% Inconvenience fee
-----------
$168 - Total

Charge backs haven't been a HUGE issue, and usually only happen about 2% of the time, But those 2% are always making promises to pay, and bla bla bla, and its a real hassle for us. So we decided to implement a fee for resolving such issues.

Thanks
